SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
FURSA PHASE I
FURSA is a Kiswahili word loosely translated as an opportunity or a chance for socio-economic advancement. This is a campaign driven by Clouds Media Group to encourage the youth to see opportunity for business in the most unlikely places and take the initiative to create avenues for themselves to gain financially and improve their lives. The campaign was launched in 2013, reaching 16 regions and covering a total of 56,000 youth all over the country in its first year, where prominent speakers and experts spoke on various topics ranging from Effective entrepreneurship, Value addition, Agri-business and Regional Branding and Themes. Why FURSA is the best platform to transform the youth? FURSA’s approach is unique, as it focuses on regional identification of micro investments, job opportunities and career paths for formal and informal sectors and provides tailored know-how to grab those opportunities.
FURSA paints a realistic picture of the creative industries and introduce the business model for the industry while redefining new economic opportunities by helping the identification of value addition business opportunities. FURSA identifies and promotes local role models in different areas other than entertainment and sports, focusing on highlighting many lucrative opportunities available in the country to bring about diversification in career choices.
